TSN Enabled Switching Platforms combining software and devices, enable rapid path to market for end products and embedded solutions deep within an industrial platform. Example applications can offer field level Profinet RT, Profinet v2.4 and OPC PubSub Automation networks.

SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) reduces total system cost and increases scalability while still offering standard Ethernet Communication. All products comply with IEEE802.3cg which include functionalities such as TSN.

Ian Saturley is Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing – USB & Networking Group at Microchip Technology Inc. With a career spanning nearly 30 years in telecoms engineering, including 11 years at Microchip, Ian has been instrumental in bringing some of the most important innovations in connectivity over the past few decades to market. Ian was Senior FAE at SMSC when the company was acquired in 2013 by Microchip

As Principal FAE for Europe he was involved in finding and signing distributors, training fellow FAEs, and driving various sales programs. Shortly after, Ian moved into more strategic marketing roles, spending time as European Marketing Manager, and then International Product Marketing Manager within Microchip’s USB & Networking Group. His role at Microchip today now involves driving some of the very technologies that he helped develop earlier in his career.
