Jacques Kruse Brandao is Global Head of Advocacy, Strategy and M&A at TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH, an international leading testing service provider for IT security and part of TÜV NORD Group with activities in more than 100 countries worldwide. Jacques has been in the identification industry for more than 20years. Today Jacques advocates our partners on how to generate trust into products and services in the hyper-connected world explaining the related needs for Security and Privacy and available solutions to be able to test, evaluate and certify products, services and systems in order raise cyber resilience and to generate trust between supply chain partners.
Jacques contributed in several cybersecurity initiatives and associations and also as a speaker at policy related conferences. His goal is to generate trust between supply chain partners and in a smarter connected world.
Dr.-Ing. Steven Arzt
Head of Secure Software Engineering department, The Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT)
Steven Arzt is the head of the Secure Software Engineering (SSE) department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT) and the coordinator of the software security research area inside the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE. He has received his PhD from Technische Unversität Darmstadt with a dissertation on static data flow analysis for Java programs and Android apps, a topic at the heart of automated software analysis and code scanning. With his department, Dr. Arzt actively conducts research on a variety of topics in software security. He regularly publishes academic papers at renowned conferences and speaks at academic and industrial venues alike.
Julien Bernet
Security Manager, Witekio
Julien is the Head of Security for Witekio and has over 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
After completing his PhD in computer science, he worked for various software security labs with a focus on embedded devices and smart cards. Thanks to his work as a security consultant and Pentester he has firsthand experience of security evaluations across a range of industries and technologies.
In his role as the Head of Security for Witekio, Julien is in charge of the development and evaluation of the company’s internal security framework and defining the security architecture for customer developments.
Daniel Bartz
FAE Security & Identification, EBV Elektronik GmbH
Daniel started his career in hardware R&D for industrial and automotive applications. He developed interest in embedded security and started working at one of Europe's biggest smart card manufacturers. After multiple years in smartcard R&D, he joined EBV as technology FAE and expert for embedded security. In this role Daniel supports customers throughout the entire EMEA region.
